Sheet 5 of 6: FAQ

Questions on file

Short answers. For anything else, write to ruboria@reborn.com.

What kind of game is Ruboria?

A persistent MMO in one shared world. You gather, haul, repair and build, and earn permits to do things newcomers can't. Fights play out in real time on a 2.5D tile board: you aim a tool's shape at the tiles and combine elements for chain reactions.

Is it turn-based?

No. Officially, emphatically, stamped in red: no. Everything happens live, and you can walk anywhere in a full circle around you. The tiles only decide where a cast lands.

What can I play it on?

It's coming to Steam.

What can I play right now?

Nothing public yet. Playtest invites are closed. Join the list to hear when that changes, and watch for clips on YouTube.

Do I need to do the math?

No. The board shows which tiles light up before you cast. The math is there for anyone who wants it, and Settings can hide the detailed readouts.

Solo or group?

Both. Drills and party trials work solo, and trials take up to four. No mandatory parties. World events are unbounded: anyone in the world can pitch in, and there's no cap on numbers.

Can players build cities?

Not yet. It's the long-term plan. Details.

Is it accessible?

The closed build has click-to-move, rebindable keys, text size, reduced motion, a flat view without the board's tilt, and a ledger that spells out what just happened. A red preview tells you why an action won't work.

How will it be paid for?

Undecided. No pay to win and no loot boxes.
